HOSTED BY:
WORDS FROM HIS AUDIENCE…
— Adam Pemberton, MRICS
“Every expat should go and see Andrew if possible...”
“The world of personal finance is a deliberately complex minefield aimed at trapping the unaware. Andrew breaks it down to easily understood elements that can arm you with the facts to allow you to look after your own financial future and avoid the expensive mistakes “finance experts “ sell to the unsuspecting. Thank you Andrew for your hard work in exposing the financial fraudsters.”
Investing is daunting no matter where you live but when you live abroad it feels…
so bloody complicated...
so bloody complicated...
Pension plans are utterly crap.
Financial advisors are terrifying (as are their “€1 million lump sum” requirement).
And questions like this haunt us…
Will we fall through the cracks of Government pension schemes as foreigners? Will they even still exist in 30 years?
And more importantly, how will we fund our elaborate retirement travels, spa breaks, and face lifts?! (*Cough* sorry, I mean children’s education, obviously)
This event cuts through all the confusion to give you a simple and smart long-term investment plan
After this morning of intimate workshopping, you’ll walk away knowing exactly…
✅ Which type of investment funds are the simplest and safest for long-term investments for all nationalities (and why)
✅ What platform to use to buy your investments (we’ll unpack all the options from banks to Robo-advisors)
✅ Exactly how much you need to save each year to reach your personal retirement goals
AKA EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO LEAVE THE EVENT AND START INVESTING
Places are extremely limited due to venue capacity
And nope, it doesn’t matter what nationality you are
This advice is suitable for everyone… all flags and stripes are welcome. We’re expecting it to be a very international crowd.
The best bit? You get 100% impartial financial advice
Your ticket price covers Andrew’s speaker fee, that’s how he makes his money.
He does not make a penny from any of the banks, services, or funds that he’ll be talking about.
The price of genuinely impartial financial advice? #Priceless!

There is zero pitch — Andrew is not selling anything.
MEET THE EXPERT:
International bestselling author and investment writer Andrew Hallam has spoken on 200+ stages across 30+ countries
As seen on CBC and The Wall Street Journal, Andrew is one of the world’s most prolific financial wellness speakers.
Author of the international best-selling books, Millionaire Teacher, Millionaire Expat, and Balance: How To Invest and Spend for Happiness, Health and Wealth, he’s the first person to have a #1 selling finance book on Amazon USA, Amazon Canada, Amazon UAE, and Amazon Singapore.
Andrew and his wife are prolific, adventure travelers. They enjoy cycling around Europe and Asia on their tandem. Before COVID, they spent 17 months exploring Mexico and Central America in their camper van.
“Intelligent investing allows people to buy the only non-renewable resource they’ll ever have,” he says. “That resource is time.”
“I have been investing for about 25 years but after reading his books, articles and watching some informative videos it was like a lightbulb coming on.
He has changed the way I think about investing and appreciate his hard work and dedication to the subject. I can now say I am way better prepared for my retirement than I was a few months ago. Thank you Andrew!!”
Maybe you have questions like…
❓What are the tax implications?
❓What currency should I be investing in?
❓What happens if I move country?
❓Do I need a financial advisor or can I do it myself?
❓What’s the best option for my nationality living in Europe?
❓Am I too old to get started?
❓What should I be investing in for my children?
Spoiler alert: Andrew might cover your question before you get a chance to ask it… but if not, you can ask him.
Okay, that’s not completely true, I started thinking about this when I was 32 but I was so overwhelmed with the options I did nothing about it.
Eight fun years later and I’d travelled a lot, bought a house, even a horse 😅 but realised I’d invested NADA.
So, with a Cava-induced hangover the day after my 40th birthday, I started panicking.
I picked up 5 books to figure out what the 🦆 to do about it…
Thank God, one of those books was Millionaire Expat by Andrew Hallam. I needn’t have read the rest.
In one book, Andrew didn’t just give me a plan. He gave me an entire financial education that quite frankly, we should have got at school.
I wrote to Andrew in LinkedIn to thank him for saving my future 😅. I told him EVERYONE needs to hear what he has to say and that I had some more questions for him…
I figured I could kill two birds with one stone by bringing him to Barcelona to speak.
I can’t believe he said yes! Pinch me, hard.
Come join us. Don’t wait eight years.
A NOTE FROM EVENT ORGANISER DELIA MONK
“When I turned 40 I suddenly realised I had zero financial plan for the future and no idea what to do about it…”
What kind of investment advice will Andrew give me?
AND OTHER FAQ
-
Will your other plans help make you a million Euros over the next 30 years? 😉 I’m afraid, we’re not planning to do any live-streaming or virtual tickets at the moment. This is a once-in-a-lifetime live opportunity in Barcelona.
-
Andrew is on a mission to stop people being burned by financial sharks that charge high fees with high risks. He is a former Canadian teacher and he’s on a mission to give people a financial education so you can make your own decisions from an informed place. He will not be selling you anything and he earns nothing from the various platforms, banks, or services that he recommends for expats.
-
To get the full details you’ll need to come along but Andrew will not be telling you to put all your money into high-risk stocks or to invest in one or two companies. He follows the simple global index fund approach — but will be tailoring that specifically to the needs of expats in Spain.
-
Yes! The content is 100% relevant for all expats all over the world. It’s actually also applicable for people who are NOT expats (the simple investing philosophy that Andrew has can be followed if you live in your country of nationality). But there are often extra levels of complications for expats and Andrew will also be tackling those concerns in this event.
-
Yes! Especially if you’re Spanish or European… most investment advice out there is for Americans but there is so little advice and education for Europeans. Even if you’re not an expat, you can still follow Andrew’s philosophy to build wealth for your future. I really hope that some of my local Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese friends will come to this event because it will be 100% relevant to you too.
-
This event is for all people — whether you don’t know yor EFT from your KFC (spoiler alert: you can’t put Ketchup on the former) or if you already have a portfolio and would like to learn more. Andrew doesn’t speak in financial gobbledy gook. He makes the complex stuff simple and breaks it down so it’s easy to understand, no matter how much investing experience you have.
-
We have done our best to make sure this event is as affordable as possible so we are not putting on food but of course, there will be coffee. Finance talks should always be coffee-fuelled.

Drop me an email to delia@deliamonk.com and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
What do you want your life to look like in 30 years?

Andrew gave Kristian advice that “changed their lives” — will you be next? ⤵️
“My wife and I are two international school teachers. We spent many years dabbling in poor, long shot investing schemes and watched our savings end up in the hands of financial planners who had overpromised and underperformed. Financial planning had intimidated and scared us. We were frustrated and lost.
Luckily for us, we moved to the same school where Andrew worked. His guidance changed our lives. It was amazing how much time and effort he gave to strangers to ensure their financial success. He cared. We took part in his workshops that pulled back the curtain on our financial reality. He provided us with practical investing tools and the confidence to use them. For the past ten years, those tools have been working for my family. Our spending is in check, our kids' college is planned for and our retirement goals are ahead of schedule. We spend our time planning life, not our finances. It is easy. We count ourselves fortunate to have crossed Andrew's path when we did.
Andrew is the real deal. His advice is genuine and his plan is easy to use. He brings investing down to a level that anyone can understand. If you attend a workshop or read his books you will find the confidence you need to financially plan for yourself. Isn't that the way it should be? We are so grateful to have learned about money and life with Andrew!” -
